WINGMAN SYSTEM

The WINGMAN acts as an early warning system for commercial and homebuilt drones by continuously scanning for UAS control and video signals. This enables it to detect the drone’s control signal and the video downlink signal. This often occurs before the drone lifts off the ground.

The WINGMAN system is designed to operate autonomously. The internal directional antennas cover the 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz ISM bands. An external active antenna can be added to provide 360° coverage. In addition, the frequency range is extended to the following bands 433 MHz, 868 MHz, 915 MHz, 1.2 GHz. This can enable even better detection of hostile drones.

When the WINGMAN system detects a drone, the operator is alerted by sound, vibration and a bright LED. New drone systems are continuously added to the drone database, so drones that will be launched in the future will also be reliably detected by the WINGMAN system.
